Community Initiatives

Community initiatives are special programs and projects that the Cadillac Area Community Foundation selects to collaborate with other area nonprofit agencies to make an impact on citizens in our area of service; address a need within the community;  fulfill the mission of the Foundation to the community; and improve the quality of life for area residents.

The Foundation frequently assumes the role of community convener in bringing a variety of local groups together to address the specific need.  The Foundation may take the role of a funding partner, or may assist the collaboration in meeting goals in other ways.

Listed in this section are  a few of the special projects, initiatives, and collaborations currently underway.

The National Standards Seal by our name indicates official confirmation from the Council on Foundations that we have met the most rigorous standards in philanthropy. It affirms our commitment to financial security, transparency and accountability.
