Membership

Youth committee members participate in assessing the needs and assets that exist to address the concerns of youth within our community, review grant applications and make recommendations to the Foundation’s Board of Trustees, assist in fund-raising events as needed, stimulate youth involvement in volunteerism, serve in a leadership role for any youth summits and workshops focused on local issues concerning youth, and evaluate the effectiveness of the projects they fund as well as their own group.

The committee meets monthly throughout the school year.

Youth committee members may also participate in statewide events with other Youth Advisory Committees (YACs).
