Time and time again, we hear the next generation express how their grandparent’s stories have strengthened their sense of identity. For generations, conveying family legacies and values helped build a culture for the future.

The Community Foundation has their finger on the pulse of the community and the local nonprofits; we have the ability to be proactive in directing grants to those organizations with the greatest need. It is the donors choice whether to designate funds to specific needs, or to choose to let the Community Foundation Board award grants that can make a difference in the lives of our community members.
The Community Foundation is a very well run philanthropic organization. Our Board is professional, hardworking, diverse, and talented. They are forward thinking, and excellent stewards of our donors gifts.
