November 2019

Plan Your Year End Giving

November is flying by and 2020 will be here before we know it. As you check off items from your end-of-the-year checklist, don’t forget that Dec. 31 is the last day to make charitable contributions in order to receive a tax receipt for the 2019 fiscal year.

I am here to help you with any charitable giving needs, including accepting last-minute donations to funds, sending grant checks to nonprofits and setting up new charitable giving accounts.  We accept donations of cash, checks, stocks and other complex assets, such as closely held stock, life insurance policies or real estate.  Donations can also be made online by clicking on the Donation Button on the upper right section of this page.  Just another way to make your generosity easier.

If you’re thinking of establishing a fund, our non-endowed donor-advised funds and our donor-advised endowment funds are easy to establish and offer more flexibility, confidentiality and tax benefits.

Our office will be open through 1pm on Dec. 31st to ensure everyone has time to make the most of their charitable giving in 2019. We are committed to making your year-end giving easy and meaningful.

Thank you for your spirit of generosity. If you have any questions please contact us at 231-775-9911, or email me at

Happy Thanksgiving,
